Couldn’t wait for these two – after our very cool engagement shoot I was excited to see their style and I wasn’t disappointed!  I loved everything about their day except those pesky rain clouds!  Aime Peterson did an amazing job as always on the florals and Lia Croke did a gorgeous job on the makeup.   Ryan from Skip Kelly Productions did an awesome job with the music too!  My first time working with him!  Enjoy these!

Immaculate Conception and Florida Yacht Club Wedding {Nicolle + Zac}

I am always happy when I see a coordinator at the rehearsals!  And super happy to see Terri Gilbreath of GG Events there.  It rained the entire day and when I got to the hotel Terri was there steaming the girls’ bridesmaids dresses which I have never seen a coordinator do that!  We started at the Hyatt, said I Do at Immaculate Conception and danced all night at the Florida Yacht Club!  I always love shooting at FYC!  Hair was done by the wonderful Nicole Wiley of Paulina Perez and makeup was done by the awesome Kendra Nelson Chaney – Simply Makeup.   Florals were done by the wonderful Kelley King of Kelley’s Bloom Room.  I will say that I haven’t seen a couple actually enjoy their reception like these two did – lots of latin music and Nicolle wanted a crazy hour of dancing with props so it felt more like a cruise ship party – everyone was dancing and having a blast.  These guys are in Greece right now and I hope they are enjoying themselves!  It was a pleasure to photograph them!

Wyndham Wedding Downtown Jacksonville {Michael + Andrea}

So this was my first Bosnian wedding and it was so interesting to see how the family came to the bride’s house to celebrate, party and dance around the living room.  Andrea was absolutely one of the sweetest brides I have had the pleasure of photographing.  Michael was a total sweetheart.  At one point he walked over to make sure we had gotten something to eat and I told him not to worry about us, he said we want to take care of you because you take care of us.  I will never forget that.  Now, I will say that the chocolate cake was probably the best chocolate I’ve ever eaten – Theresa from Simply Delicious did an amazing job with the cakes and Kelley’s Bloom Room did a fantastic job with the florals.  I got to spend most of the morning with one of my favorite makeup artists, Stephanie Bolen from Simply Makeup, which she turns into the sister you always wanted when you’re around her.  Fantastic job Stephanie!  Enjoy!

Castle Otttis Wedding {Rick + Amber}

I was thrilled to photograph Rick and Amber at such a cool venue – Castle Otttis.   Rusty, the owner, was one of the coolest cats I have met in a long time – I literally could have chatted with him all day about his sculpture.  But Rick and Amber had a ton of photos they wanted to get to – driving around St. Augustine for most of the day, we stopped at the carousel, the Old Jail (the tour was pretty funny actually), Ripley’s Believe it or Not, stopped for a blizzard at Diary Queen yum!, Fountain of Youth, Flagler College and an awesome shop there on St. George.  I loved that they wanted to do this and was honored to be a part of this process.  We ended the night at a restaurant there near St. George and I was so happy to sit with their family and enjoy some dinner and sangria with them!  I hope you enjoy a few of these!  Many blessings to you Rick and Amber – you guys were wonderful!

Club Continental Wedding {Sherlene + Ronnie}

I loved Sherlene’s spunky personality!  She has the most gorgeous skin ever too!  Ronnie’s smile is infectious – these two were a hoot.  Loved them!  Metro did an amazing job as always on the cake!  Enjoy!
